DJ Suga – Entertainer DJ has been with Good Hope FM since 1996, starting as a weekend DJ and working her way to becoming the first female DJ to have a primetime, weekday slot on commercial music format radio in the city. Her current show is broadcasted every Monday to Friday from 09-12am.
Born in 1976, Suga can be best described as kind, passionate, driven and a definite livewire which appealed to wide audience and is popular with teenagers and adults of all ages. DJ Suga is also an accomplished public speaker and DJ who has played sets with DJ Jazzy Jeff and enjoyed numerous residencies in and around Cape Town through Speakers Inc

The 46664 concert was broadcast on SABC television, SABC Africa and globally with a total audience of billions of people.
The 2003 46664 concert held in Cape Town features her voice on DVD and CD.
She was part of a documentary showcasing Frieda Darvel; the street child with the beautiful voice for Swedish Filmmakers. This documentary had its worldwide Premier in Cape Town.
She participated in the Sanlam Money Game on SABC 3…..where she was up against two other radio presenters and won.
DJ Suga participated in the Weakest Link, SABC 3.
She has been the subject of a documentary on female DJs, SABC 1.
She has been part of numerous inserts for Top Billing and featured in the Magazine
She has been featured twice on the kids show, Wild Room, SABC 1
She was featured in the Miss Ebene magazine and MC’d at the launch
DJ Suga presented the well loved programme Pillow Talk which was aired on GHFM every Wednesdays and broadcasted every Thursdays on SABC3 at 22h00
Suga gained further exposure by hosting inserts with Fiona Furey on NOTED broadcasting every Friday on SABC3 at 19h30.
